The hourly rate
A fixed hourly rate is quoted in advance and held for the duration of the work.
Parts
All parts are itemised at cost plus a stated margin. Emergency parts are billed at cost plus fifteen per cent, and the invoice itemises both.
Payment terms
Net thirty days for account clients and commercial contracts. Residential work is payable on completion. We accept electronic transfer, cheque and major credit cards.
Deposits
A deposit of twenty-five per cent is required on supply-and-install work exceeding $3,000.
Attendance times
A licensed journeyperson is dispatched within two hours within our standard service area, and within four hours beyond it.
Travel beyond the service area
Work beyond Ottawa, Kanata, Stittsville, Richmond, Carp and Dunrobin is undertaken by arrangement, with travel charged at a stated rate disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.
Maintenance contracts
Contracts are written for twelve or twenty-four months and are terminable on sixty days' notice by either party. A fixed labour rate is held for the term.
