- Quotations
- No charge applies to a quotation prepared during a scheduled appointment for work we expect to exceed four hours. Where a client requests attendance solely to diagnose a fault, the standard service call of $95 applies and is credited in full against the invoice should the work proceed.
- The hourly rate
- A fixed hourly rate is quoted in advance and held for the duration of the work.
- Parts
- All parts are itemised at cost plus a stated margin. Emergency parts are billed at cost plus fifteen per cent, and the invoice itemises both.
- Payment terms
- Net thirty days for account clients and commercial contracts. Residential work is payable on completion. We accept electronic transfer, cheque and major credit cards.
- Deposits
- A deposit of twenty-five per cent is required on supply-and-install work exceeding $3,000.
- Attendance times
- A licensed journeyperson is dispatched within two hours within our standard service area, and within four hours beyond it.
- Travel beyond the service area
- Work beyond Ottawa, Kanata, Stittsville, Richmond, Carp and Dunrobin is undertaken by arrangement, with travel charged at a stated rate disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.
- Maintenance contracts
- Contracts are written for twelve or twenty-four months and are terminable on sixty days' notice by either party. A fixed labour rate is held for the term.
- Warranty
- Two years on labour, and the manufacturer's warranty on parts and appliances. Warranty terms are printed on every invoice.
